We want to announce that version 1.7.25 of the “Issue Checklist Pro” app will be discontinued and shut down on April 29, 2019.
We strongly encourage all customers still using version 1.7.25 to update to the latest version available (1.8.28 at time of writing this post).
The update is completely free, and the subscription details, including the amount paid, will remain unchanged.
How to update:
Please visit your “Jira Settings” > “Apps” > “Manage apps” > “Issue Checklist” and click “Update” button.
Atlassian announced breaking API changes, and app vendors must implement them by no later than April 29, 2019.
It requires changes in the app descriptor, but Atlassian Marketplace does not allow to change descriptor of an old version of the app if the newer version exists. It means that it is technically not possible to make version 1.7.25 compatible with the API changes introduced by Atlassian and version 1.7.25 will stop working on April 29, 2019.
The only way to continue working with the Issue Checklist is updating to version 1.8.28 which is already compatible with the Atlassian API changes. We encourage customers to update from version 1.7.25 as soon as possible.

Version 1.8.28 contains several improvements, new features, and bug fixes when compared to version 1.7.25.

Issue Checklist Pro is a paid app (that includes version 1.7.25 and all other versions).
If you are not willing to pay for the checklist, you might install the free version. Switching from paid to free and vice-versa preserves all checklist data.
